Working from sites of gender conflict in classical literature, I made wearable garments from the floor-plans of the actual sites of these fictional events. I then wore these garments and posed in them in a manner that the shapes of the cloth evoked for me, and drew these poses. In this way the work moved from fact to fiction to fact, and from drawing to physical to drawing.
